Thanks to the Lion's mane (Hericium erinaceus) Liquid Culture Syringe - 20 ML, you can easily grow this mushroom at home. It contains pre-prepared mycelium, which makes growth more efficient and stable than with traditional spore solutions. After inoculating the substrate, you can harvest your own Lion's Mane within a period of six weeks. Instead of a standard mushroom shape, it has unique structures. This mushroom can be found in the forests of Europe and Asia, and has long been known for both its culinary and medicinal uses in East Asian tradition.

- 1x 20ml liquid culture in a syringe

Use
- Add 1-2ml per 1L jar of sterilized grain.
- Shake the liquid culture well before use, the Lion's Mane mycelium may clump.
- Be patient after inoculation. Lion's Mane mycelium has a slow and sometimes irregular growth. It may look like there is no growth, but the process has probably already started.
After use
- Refrigerate.
- Dry the needle thoroughly with a new alcohol wipe before replacing the protective cap to prevent rust.
- Optional: Use a lighter to heat the needle and evaporate any remaining water. Then let it cool before replacing the cap.
- Place the liquid culture in a ziplock bag for extra protection and place it back in the refrigerator.
These instructions will ensure that the liquid culture remains effective and usable for as long as possible.
What substrate do we grow on?
For large scale Lion's Mane growing, a specific bulk substrate is required. You can use various types of hardwood for this, such as poplar, oak, alder, maple, birch, ash, beech, and elm, mixed with bran.

Storage advice
