    Product description

Using the Turkey tail (Trametes versicolor) Liquid Culture Syringe - 20 ML offers an easy way to grow this unique mushroom at home. With the pre-cultivated mycelium in the syringe, you can grow faster and more stably than when working with spore solutions. This makes the process of colonizing substrates more efficient, because the liquid culture is evenly distributed over, for example, grain substrates, which leads to faster colonization.

Turkey Tail, also known as the Fairy Bench, is not only a visually striking mushroom with its colorful and layered structure, but also has a long history of use in traditional medicine, especially in East Asian countries such as China and Japan. The mushroom is valued there for its potential health benefits, which are now increasingly supported by scientific research.

The active compounds in Turkey Tail, such as polysaccharide-k (PSK) and polysaccharide peptides (PSP), are being studied for their possible immune-boosting properties and other health benefits. In addition, the mushrooms contain phenols and flavonoids, underscoring their potential as a supplement. However, it is important to remember that liquid culture is only intended for colonizing substrates and not for direct consumption.

In summary, the Turkey Tail Liquid Culture Syringe offers an accessible and efficient way for both hobbyists and more experienced growers to cultivate this versatile and rich mushroom.

    • Refrigerate.
    • Dry the needle thoroughly with a new alcohol wipe before replacing the protective cap to prevent rust.
