McSmart's GrowKit provides everything you need to grow your own Magic Mushrooms at home. Just add water and follow the included instructions. With this kit, you can expect up to three flights of mushrooms, with the first one often giving the biggest yield.
Shelf life: In the fridge the kit will keep for up to 6 months, outside the fridge the kit has a limited shelf life.
Step 1.
Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the growkit with a dry cloth. Remove the lid and save it for step 2.
Step 2
Fill the growkit to the brim with lukewarm water (20C°), place the lid back on the growkit and let the growkit soak for 5 minutes.
Important: never soak the growkit for more than 1 hour.
Step 3
Remove the lid from the growkit and drain the water well. Let the growkit drain for 10 seconds.
Step 4
Place the growkit in the growbag and fill it with a cup, 200 to 250ml, of lukewarm water (20°C). After this, fold the top of the bag and close it with the 2 paper clips.
Step 5
Place the growkit in a room between 20-25 degrees. Make sure that; the growkit is not in direct sunlight, is not under a lamp and is not near a heating/heat source. Important: the bag should remain closed until the pinheads are formed. At this stage, CO2 levels and humidity should be as high as possible.
Step 6
When the first pinheads* can be seen, air the grow bag daily for a few minutes and moisten the grow kit with plant spray after this.
*Pinheads are the first visible formations of the mushrooms. It can take 10 to 20 days before the first pinheads are visible.
Step 7
The mushrooms can be harvested just before the membranes at the base of the cap start to loosen. While harvesting, gently grasp the stem and twist it left/right. When the mushroom becomes loose, pull it out as completely as possible.
Important: the mushroom should be removed completely to make room for a new one.
Step 8
Congratulations, the harvest is complete. It is now possible to create a new harvest by going through steps 4 to 7 again.
