Because the Freshmushrooms XP grow kit contains a 100% mycelium, setting up and growing these magic mushrooms is child's play if you compare this with the All-In-One of een Premium growkits. All you have to do after you receive the grow kit is remove the lid and place the plastic container with the substrate in the grow bag (grow bag supplied). You then close the growbag with the supplied paperclips, that's all you need to do. Now you have to wait until you see the first pins or mushroom hats. Open the bag 1x a day and only mist the growing bag with water, not the mushrooms themselves. Magic mushrooms grow well in a humid environment.
With a 100% mycelium Freshmushrooms breeding kit, we mean a fully active mycelium. For example, with a Premium grow kit this is not 100% on arrival. But what is a mycelium? A mycelium is an underground network of fungal threads also called Hyfe. The mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of a mycelium. The mushrooms emerge from this network when the climate is favourable. The mushroom grows and opens its hat completely when it is ready to release its spores. By releasing the spores, a mycelium will once again arise at a different place where they end up.
Mushroom spores ensure reproduction of the mycelium and therefore also the mushrooms. Mushroom spores are like the seeds of a plant. The shrooms drop the spores when they open the hats. The spurs are located between the slats under the hat. When the climate is favourable, the mushroom will drop it. The spores are tiny and resemble some sort of black/dark purple powder. The wind carries the tracks all over the world. At the place where the spores land, a mycelium will grow again.

After setting up the mushroom grow kit according to the instructions, you can already harvest mushrooms within 3 weeks. It may sometimes take a little longer because it is a natural product. After you have picked the first crop you can set up the bredding kit again for a second and then even a third crop. The amount of mushrooms that you can harvest then decreases slightly with each successive flush (harvest).
